COUNSELLING CAN HELP
Petra McMahon of Dove Counselling Service based in Oswestry, Shropshire has many years experience in counselling people through a range of issues including: anxiety, depression, stress, panic attacks, bullying, loss & bereavement, phobias, PTSD and critical incident debriefing.

- 1:1 Sessions
Dove Counselling Service in Oswestry provides 1:1 sessions - there is normally an assessment followed by 5 counselling sessions. During the final session, there is time to review the progress and discuss the need for further sessions.
- Critical Incident Debriefing
Typically this is a one-off session lasting upto 3 hours and is available to individuals, groups or companies.
- Professional supervision is offered to counsellors, both experienced and trainees as required by the BACP.
COUNSELLING SUPPORT FOR HELPING PROFESSIONS
Dove Counselling Service also provides counselling support/supervision for those in the medical or other helping professions who need a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment to off-load.

Petra McMahon of Dove Counselling Service in Oswestry, Shropshire is an Accredited Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). She is an Independent Registered Counsellor of the United Kingdom of Registered Counsellors (UKRC).
Petra works as a CBT therapist founded on the core principles of person-centred counselling.
COUNSELLING ASSESSMENT
New clients are offered a comprehensive assessment normally lasting around an hour and a half to explore what has brought them to counselling.
There is plenty of opportunity to ask any questions you wish.
