An attractive, well-cared for and perfectly located Camping and Caravanning Club Site in Oswestry for exploring Shropshire and Powys.
INTRODUCING OSWESTRY CAMPING AND CARAVANNING CLUB SITE
Alan, Gail & Peter look forward to welcoming you to their"place in the country". The site enjoys easy access to Oswestry, Shrewsbury, Chester, Ironbridge, Llangollen as well as North East and Mid-Wales. It sits in pleasant countryside, just off the A5 (Wolfshead Roundabout), midway between Oswestry & Shrewsbury.
Cranberry Moss is an ideal base for touring the surrounding towns and areas or simply relaxing in the countryside, putting your feet up and enjoying the peace and quiet - and if you're lucky, some of the best sunsets Shropshire has to offer.
A FIVE STAR AWARD-WINNING SITE
Since opening on 1st August 2007, Cranberry Moss are proud to have already achieved 5 STARS ***** from the Visit England Tourist Board and were also delighted to be awarded Loo of the Year in 2010!
ATTRACTIVE CAMPING AND CARAVANNING CLUB SITE
The site has been sympathetically developed to offer pitches for all types of camping and can accomodate caravans, motorhomes, tents and trailer tents with both hard stand and grass pitches.
A new, beautifully, clean, centrally heated amenity block encompasses disabled facilities, parent & child room, dishwashing and laundry facilities which are available to all campers.
WELL-STOCKED SITE SHOP, LOCALLY-SOURCED FOOD
The Oswestry Camping and Caravanning Club Site at Cranberry Moss, Oswestry, stocks a variety of locally produced items such as milk, eggs, delicious dry-cured bacon and sausages, Top House Ice Creams, Hollies Farm jams, Great Ness Rapeseed oils and Nellie's Patch soaps.
They also have a welcome Fish & Chip van visiting the site most Fridays and stocking basic grocery essentials.
WALKING IN HEAVEN - ENGLAND & WALES ON YOUR DOORSTEP
Our campers can enjoy the many gorgeous walks around the area: The Bridleway just outside the entrance gate and Nesscliffe Country Park are two of the most popular walks and with a regular bus service at the main entrance, both Oswestry and Shrewsbury are only a short journey away.
We are open all year round including New Year where we invite all our campers to join in with our festive celebrations - not forgetting our birthday bash in the summer where you can take part in the annual Cranberry Moss Stakes horse racing!
