Our concept at The Fat Olive is based on providing fresh homemade food with ingredients sourced from local suppliers. With menus styled with a Mediterranean theme and an added Lancashire twist you can be sure that there will be a dish to suit everyone's taste from either the a la carte menu or weekly changing specials. The restaurant boasts great modern decor and a friendly ambience offering a full wine list with draft and bottled beers available.
The Fat Olive is co-owned by partners Matt and Jennifer; Matt has 15 years experience as a chef, he has previously worked in France, Spain and the Isle of Man to gain a wider experience of cooking methods, styles and flavours. In England he has enjoyed being the executive chef of a successful tapas restaurant in addition to developing his Lancashire styled dishes in award winning restaurants and pubs. Jennifer has a business and marketing background and also worked in a busy front of house position in the restaurant where Matt and her met. They have combined their love of good food and customer service with their dream of owning their own restaurant, and hope the experience is enjoyable and memorable for all their customers.
We are child friendly with a 2 course menu especially designed for hungry Little Olive's.
