We visited the Blue Mallard on Wed. 25th April, The room was very nice, the food was good and nicely presented but the service was 'soooo slooow'in fact we waited almost an hour for starters and the main course wasn't much quicker, and this was after being left standing by the door for 10mins. on arrival while staff stood chatting at the bar. I must admit the staff were friendly when you could get their attention.

Enjoyed a beautiful meal with my husband on Thursday evening. Took advantage of the special two and three course price which I think runs Mon-Thur and includes a glass of wine or pint of beer so worked out really good value. The food was fantastic and the staff are very welcoming and friendly and service is second to none. Will be returning very soon :-)

We had Sunday lunch and I can honestly say it was the best food we have eaten in a long time. Beautifully cooked and seasoned, which makes a change these days! The staff couldn't have been any more helpful or nicer, we will definitely be returning in the near future. Hope you go from strength to strength.

What a fantastic meal for Grand National Day. We have booked for the Royal Wedding menu as we like the place so much. Can\'t wait to visit again. Excellent food, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere.
