Staged on open fields on the north edge of Dartmoor with panoramic views of the surrounding area, there's a main stage, a performance marquee and other entertainment, including a Pirate Ship for kids, Stilt Walkers and Face Painters etc around the site.
The dates for 2009 are confirmed as Friday 17th and Saturday 18th July, with the beer tent open along with the acoustic marquee on the Friday.
Acts confirmed so far include: John Otway, The Bad Shepherds (Ade Edmondson's new band), 3 Daft Monkeys, Dastards, The Lost Mules, The Orkid, Ella Edmondson, Callaghan, Alex Hart, The Heseltines, and No Crisis. Headline acts are to follow.
The idea behind the festival is to give some local bands the opportunity to play at such an event as well as booking well known acts. It will be a mixture of styles from Rock to Drum & Bass to Folk and Blues plus whatever else they can find. They'll be a main stage, plus acts performing in a marquee between main stage acts.
Numbers will be limited to 5,000 to provide a fun but chilled atmosphere in a cosy, relaxed venue for all age groups - visit the website for full info:e ladies!

We also put in a lot of effort to ensure that the experience is as pleasant as possible, with no overcrowding (the license limits numbers) and plentiful clean facilities - with proper loo trailers for the ladies!
