The Plymouth Inn of Okehampton has earned itself a great reputation for serving beautifully prepared pub food and pub meals, with inside seating for 54 and 48 in the Beer Garden. Owned and managed by Jeff and Dee Smith (30 years in the hospitality industry), the Plymouth Inn is one of Okehamptons most popular pubs, with regular live entertainment and a programme of events for all ages.
Children are well catered for, there is a play area with toys for the under 10's, so Mum and Dad can enjoy a quiet drink!
Okehampton Pub Meals
The Plymouth Inn sources it's ingredients from local Okehampton butchers and veg suppliers and specialises in home cooked fayre, you can even build your own steak menu, you can for instance choose a 4oz rump steak with a companion 6oz sirloin steak, then choose from the 'add on' menu, which includes chips, fries, potatoes sauteed, boiled or new, then choose from a selection of vegetables - why have a meal that might contain food you don't want?
All food is cooked to order, there is a seperate childs menu, and the Plymouth Inn does a very popular Okehampton Sunday Lunch - advance booking is advisable for your Okehampton pub meals at weekends. There are vegetarian pub food options (How does warm goats cheese on a bed of sauteed vegetables with redcurrant glaze and salad sound to you?), and fantastic sweets, so save a bit of room!

The Plymouth Inn plays host to Okehampton's WREN musicians every last Sunday of the month, pub quiz nights are held on the first Sunday of the month and Dee and Jeff organise other events regularly - the Plymouth Inn is at the heart of the Okehampton community, and holiday visitors are especially welcome.
