The George in Hatherleigh has been at the heart of Hatherleigh's affairs since it was first established c.1450, serving as a meeting point for locals and market traders and merchants, as a coaching Inn, and now, following it's recent refurbishment following a fire, as a fine country pub and restaurant offering fine accommodation and food to a very high standard.
The George offers two well stocked bars and several sitting areas, a restaurant area, open log fires for a cosy winter experience, a lovely terrace for those balmy summer days and a cosy inner courtyard with easy access to the bars. There is a pub car park at the rear of the George exclusive to clients.
