Prewley Moor Arms - Pub Restaurant Testimonials

We decided to check out the Prewley Moor as we had been told that the new management there were busy turning the place into a bit of a gastronomic delight. We were greeted by John, a cheerful chap who sorted our drinks and ran through the menu with us. The menu by the way is happily not one of those multi page efforts full of the most unlikely dishes, for me ALWAYS a sure sign that I am about to be assaulted by some factory prepared bilge straight out of the microwave, oh no, the menu is simple, thoughtful and features produce from some very local producers, and the best thing as far as we were concerned, fresh fish straight from St. Mawes.
My wife went for the Monkfish, I chose the Haddock. What a treat. Top marks, if there was a problem it was neither of us could quite empty our plates, the portions were very generous. I think it safe to say the Prewley Moor is on our list of places to re-visit.
I am happy to recommend the Prewly Moor, the service is polite and civil, and the food is excellent. Keep it up.
