The objective of positive horsemanship is to bring fun back into being around horses, and for horses to enjoy being with their owners, by becoming a more sensitive horse rider. Positive horsemanship training courses are held both in Devon and throughout the UK.
Positive Horsemanship with Vanessa Bee
"There are as many ways of teaching horsemanship as there are horses and horse handlers in the World, one programme couldn't work all the time for everyone."
Vanessa however believes that there is one constant, something that benefits all horses and riders, and that is apositive relationship between horse and rider, hence 'positive horsemanship'.
Having worked with, read, and studied with some of the greatest horsemen of the age - Monty Roberts, Kelly Marks, Jayne Lavender and Pat Parelli amongst others - and having used as guides and mentors Henry Blake, Maurice Wright, Buck Brannaman, the Dorrances, Ray Hunt and Mark Rashid, Vanessa developed and practices Positive Horsemanship.
