The Luxton family have farmed locally for generations, Dudley and Frances Luxton now run the farm with their son Stuart (BA Hons Agriculture) and his growing family - a true local concern.
Their farm consists of extensive beef and sheep enterprises with a mix of upland, lowland and moorland grazing, and the beautifully tasty, succulent meats that the Luxtons farm produces are now available in their Okehampton farm shop - flavour fresh farm produce straight to you with no middleman.
Farmer Luxtons farm shop is located next to the Mole Avon car park, just off the B3260 (The road leading from the A30 into Okehampton)

There are no short cuts when it comes to producing top quality prize winning meats, Farmer Luxtons farm shop produce comes from animals grazed on fresh grass and conserved forage, with minimal artificial inputs, a system which has led to many prizes and championships, including Reserve Champion at the Royal Cornwall Show. The Luxton family care about their farm and it's animals, and it shows, just try a beef cut - it is hung for four weeks giving fantastic tenderness, texture and flavour.
