Monsanto’s Harvest of Fear

Monsanto already dominates America’s food chain with its genetically modified seeds. Now it has targeted milk production. Just as frightening as the corporation’s tactics–ruthless legal battles against small farmers–is its decades long history of toxic contamination.

Does anybody around here seriously believe this isn't the future of farming that Monsanto and other agri giants want for the UK?

This article is just one of many that have over the years that have highlighted the psychopathic nature of companies such as Monsanto, there is no defence for their insane activities, but brace yourselves for a new attack in the form of a 'softening up' campaign regarding GM crops. The Nazi tactics employed by DEFRA with FMD are nothing as compared to what could happen with this bunch, and their excuse for an in will be the current and not about to end world food crisis, We will be told there is no choice but the GM route.

This is an outright lie, but it will not stop it being used as a tactic. World food production is and will continue to be in crisis, Malthus is finally being proved right (google Robert Malthus), unfortunately, our reproductive habits have got the better of us.

This is a local issue. This is an agricultural area despite Government attempts (don't get me started) to turn the countryside into one big theme park, not a working environment - until now. Those idiots in Government are being forced into a very rapid u-turn, and will look for the easy way out,  the soft tones of GM companies will be whispering in their ears right now about their solutions.

They are not solutions though, they are an easy way out for short term thinkers.
