Christmas Lights Switch On.

Is it really that time of the year again? The Christmas Lights Switch-On always catches me by surprise.

Here are details of two of the main events:

Castle Mall: 14th November 2013

This Thursday, 14th November, Fireman Sam will be switching on the lights at at Castle Mall . Although the formal event is at 6.30pm, Fireman Sam will be available earlier in the day for personal meetings. Tickets for these can be booked at the Information Desk on Level 2.

Here are the timings for the day:

3.30pm – 6.30pm Face painting outside BB’s on Level 2
3.30pm – 7pm Festive cupcake decorating outside BB’s on Level 2 (£1 charity donation). Decorate a cupcake to take home with you.
3.30pm – 8pm Fireman Sam will be making appearances at intervals throughout the day. Book tickets from the Information Desk.
4pm - 7pm Santa’s reindeer will be in the Castle Gardens, just outside the Food Court

4pm Family entertainment on stage:

Two children’s shows
Flegg High School Choir
Broadland School of Dance
Invidia Voices - The Rock and Soul Choir

5.45pm Toby Anstis from Heart FM on stage to host the evening’s entertainment
6.45pm Lights switch on with Toby Anstis – Fireman Sam will be there too!

The Heart Angels will be giving out goody bags throughout the evening!

The Forum and Norwich Castle: 21st November 2013

This event will include a magical candle-lit procession at 6pm from Norwich Castle to The Forum for the official lights Switch-On by TV presenter Jake Humphrey at 7pm. This will be followed by fireworks. There will be live music and lots of activities outside the Forum.
