I have been drinking Roger Harris’s Beaujolais appellations for over thirty years. His intimate knowledge of the area, with its multitude of small producers, pays off in the distinctiveness and quality of the wines he offers. I have never been disappointed, whereas Beaujolais I bought from elsewhere could be muddy or characterless. The new website gives an informative and readable account of the wines, and it is good to know that Clare, Roger’s daughter is now taking on some of the regular visits that keep the business up to date.
