A four star hotel. Great staff - friendly and efficient; and good food. The bar is quiet and pleasant as is the lounge - both great places to sit quietly and relax; and the restaurant has a rossette, a wonderful atmosphere and requests to change the dishes to vegetarian or vegan aren't any problem. there is a bar menu as well as a restaurant menu and you may order from either in the lounge.

I absolutely love the wine bar at the Maids Head hotel. They serve over 40 different wines by the glass - which means you taste lost of different, interesting wines. The restaurant is also brilliant - they do a 5-course meal which makes for an incredible evening out!

I stayed in the Maids Head this week and it was quite clearly one of the very best hotels I have stayed at this year. Out of 50+ that is quite a feat! The reception I received made me feel like a prodigal son returning home (rather than a first time visitor!), the room was superb and, all in all my stay was simply 10 out of 10. When in Norwich, stay at this hotel ..... end of.

I recently stayed at the Maids Head hotel, what a breath of fresh air. the staff were very friendly, the accomodation was lovely and the food was fantastic I can see why this hotel won hotel of the year in Norfolk. We have booked to stay again during the summer so we can explore norwich a little more

As a visitor to Norwich, I visited the Maids Head Hotel only last month and was greeted with a fantastic hotel with really friendly staff.

Even the maintenance man was really helpful and even helped me park my car (it was a hire vehicle)!

This hotel is missing out on an opportunity not to be featured under hotels/accommodation as it has a lot more to offer than just Murder Mystery!

Well done on gaining your 4 stars too!
