The Coming Alive Foundation is a childrenâs health charity, working with young people who have been through serious emotion trauma. The foundation offers support, counselling and advice to families and young people in Norwich and Norfolk.
Do you know a child or young person who is dealing with a serious emotional trauma?
Whether they have been through bereavement, abuse, crime, discrimination or dealing with parents divorcing, young people need support and a space in which to deal with their emotions.
Having worked passionately with personal development, training and self-improvement for years, Louise Harris founded the Coming Alive Foundation in early 2010, with the aim of helping 8-18 year olds in Norwich and across Norfolk. She felt that it was important to use the tried and tested methods of personal development, coaching and NLP for the people who need it the most - rather than just the people who can afford it!
With a genuine passion for helping people tap into their inner strength, Louise set up the foundation to help young people process the incredibly difficult emotions that can arise from traumatic incidents.
Having recently achieved charitable status, the Coming Alive Foundation is based in Norwich and offers the next step of support, advice and counselling and helps children regain confidence. It's all about supporting young people to deal with emotional trauma, helping them to believe in themselves and giving them the spring-board to realise their potential.
Operating in Norwich and Norfolk at present, Louise's aim is to take the foundation national in the future.
