Kate is excellent. She listens and then does what you want her to do. Her low lights were perfect and the salon is very calm and relaxing.

Orb Organic Hair is amazing! My over-processed hair was in desperate need of some serious TLC, and it got it from Kate. I'm so glad I made the long trip from Ely to Norwich. I had decided to embark on a process of hair rehabilitation after spending too many years with an ordinary stylists who depended on many evil-smelling, damaging chemicals to lighten my dark brown to blonde. Kate was able to achieve excellent blonde results with organic products. Her knowledge and expertise are exactly what my sad locks needed. I recommend her highly!
If you're looking for the perfect stylist in Norwich, look no further! Kate is the absolute best. She is very kind and her salon is such a welcoming environment. She spoils you with lovely tea and coffee, and top-ups if you'd like too! The products she uses are gentle yet effective and smell divine. Whenever I have my hair cut and coloured by Kate I receive so many compliments from friends and family. I have given her card out to several people already! Treat yourself to Orb Organic and you'll always leave feeling pampered and beautiful.
Friendly welcome and very cosy in the current snow! Really felt I was listened to, advised wisely and came out with exactly the cut I wanted. No hard sell on products, fantastic coffee and good music. And my hair felt and smelled amazing.
My husband and I have used Kate exclusively for the best part of the last ten years and she has never once failed to impress. I was always terrified of hairdressers, as they had a tendency to completely ignore everything is said to them and just cut all my hair off (or add layers to already very thin hair!). Kate always listens to exactly what I want, never cuts off more than I ask and o always leave the salon with a cut that looks a million dollars. She has revived my previously dull, dry and lifeless hair into a shining, crowning glory with delicious products (that actually work!) and skills that you will struggle to find anywhere else. She does great mens hair too, AND she makes a fantastic cup of tea!
I give Kate full marks I have been torturing my hair for years, my hair was too dark and very ageing I went in despair to see Kate and told her what I was looking for and she explained how we could lift my dark flat colour and bring it back to life, without causing more damage, second session today and I'm really happy, I have a lovely multi toned red hair and have had 4 people comment on it in 4 hours, I have followed Kate's advice and have used products recommended but they are my choice there was no hard sell I'm 44 and have been colouring my hair since a teen I was starting to notice damage through bad choices of shampoos conditioners and colours from other salons and home kits so that's why I decided to give orb a go, also had a funky new cut to get rid of long hair, a very happy customer I would recommend orb 100%.
Orb was recommended to me by a friend. I am so pleased with my new hair! Cut and colour both amazing, Kate worked wonders. I have never had so many compliments about my hair, and that was just on the school run! Absolutely brilliant - will definitely go back. One very happy customer!
Another AMAZING haircut. Usually as soon as I walk out of the hairdressers I hate my new cut, but no longer!! Kate is A-MAZING!! And she's actually willing to give you an opinion on what she thinks will look good or suit you. Went for a blunt fridge today, could have been awful buts it looks great just as Kate said it would. Always recommending this place to my friends.
I love this hairdressers' for the organic hair products used; Kate is a great stylist and conversationalist. The decor is groovy and music, chilled. A cup of tea (from a huge selection) while your hair is being pampered, is a treat! It's also in a fab location, near the city but away from the traffic rush. Go, go, go!
I recently started coming here and the hair colours are lovely, really good colour, no fading and covers grey. It was recommended to me by word of mouth and is a good, local hair salon. Kate really knows her products and you get good service.
It's taken me a while to find a hairdresser I liked but now that I've found Orb I don't need to look any further. Kate's a really good cutter and my hair looks lovely for ages after a visit - even when I've washed and styled it myself! And I particularly love not having chemical nasties on my hair - Kate dyed it for me recently and not being swamped in ammonia was great!

Agree with all the other comments made about Orb. Kate is seriously skilled both at cutting and colouring hair but also at creating a fantastically relaxing and enjoyable vibe in her stylish salon. You have her full attention at all times and the atmosphere is so peaceful. Usually hate having my hair cut but not at Orb! Best hairdressing experience I have had.Sally B
THE SCENE: First time visit to Orb Organics ME: I'm thoroughly bored with my boring haircut. KATE: Well, I could do this, this and this. (cue swishing about of my hair). ME: Sounds great! You can do whatever you like. KATE: Really??!! (with big smile). .....after 40 mins of so of lovely chatting, great music and periods of deep concentration from both of us..... KATE: Ta da! What do you think? ME: I LOVE IT. POST VISIT VERDICT: Fabulous hairdresser. I love my new style, everyone I see comments on how much it suits me and how nice it looks. I really can't see myself going anywhere ever again.
Finally, after many, many years of just making do, I've found a hairdresser that I want to go back to!! Kate does a fantastic job. She really listens, cuts and colours your hair beautifully, uses fantastic products, but never pressures you into buying any. Nobody ever used to notice when I had my hair cut. Now even my husband notices!! I've been back several times now, and have always had a great cut and a friendly welcome. (She also makes great coffee) If you have not discovered Orb, give Kate a call and book an appointment - you wont be disappointed!
Orb Organic Hair is the best hair salon I've ever been to. A fun and relaxed atmosphere, stylish salon, and just great hair care. Kate is the most excellent and intuitive hairdresser, and you're guaranteed to walk away with a brilliant haircut. The products used are lovely, and well worth buying, but you never actually get pushed into doing so, as you do with many other salons. I've been getting my hair cut there for more than two years, and I can't fathom going anywhere else! I haven't actually lived in Norwich in ages, but have made the commute from Leicester and Nottingham for my haircuts! I've raved so much about this place, that nearly everyone I know in Norwich and Norfolk goes there now. It really is the best of Norwich!
