I have been visiting Maddie for 10 years now, not like the usual beauty salon, I would always feel slightly uncomfortable is this type of environment, but not with Illusions, you get the personal touch, you are no a one to one basis, never feel rushed, you can talk about your troubles and she will always listen, you are confident it will go no further, you can go in feeling tense and walk out totally relaxed.

I would class Maddie as a friend and this is the feeling she relays to everybody who visits. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I have been to several salons over the years and this is by far the best I have been to, the atmosphere is terrific, staff are friendly and inviting. I cant wait for my next appointment.

A friend of mine recommended illusions to me and I am so glad she did! it is such a find. The atmosphere is just fantastic, I have tried many of the salons in the city and they just don't compare to the surroundings offered by Maddie and her salon. I have fantastic looking nails, they are the best they have ever looked, the advice given is both proffesional and helpful. I can only say I am so glad I have found illusions and look forward to sampling thier wide range of treatments. I have even bought my mums Christmas present there!!

Myself and my mum were looking for a good nail salon and were not disappointed when we found Illusions. A real friendly and personal service from Maddie and her daughter Charlotte. 'Illusions' is a fantastic salon for nails, tanning and a host of beauty treatments. Maddie and Charlotte are just brilliant, they're professional and will always recommend the best treatment for you without being too pushy. They are extremely friendly and helpful, a glass of tea, coffee or wine is always offered on arrival. Treatments are not rushed, however they stick closely to their bookings to ensure that you're not waiting around for your appointment. When I've needed an appointment in a hurry, I have found them to be extremely flexible and helpful in fitting me in at a time that suits me. You simply don't get this kind of personal service anywhere else - that's why I think they're simply the best !

What a wonderful experience! I always wanted a spray tan but was very nervous about going somewhere, Maddie was brilliant she made me very relaxed and she was very professional it only took 10mins and it shows straight away!

I have been a confirmed nail biter for over 30 years. I was going to try hypnosis as everything else had failed. Then I met Maddie! I now have long nails that all my friends and family have complimented me on. They are very strong and long lasting, although when I did break one, Maddie fixed it pronto - and for free! Thoroughly recommended. All biters should make an appointment now.
