Bonfire Fun and Firework displays in Norwich

I've updated this blog for the 2011 details of firework displays.

If you're looking for firework displays in Norwich, there are plenty of local ones but if you want something huge, noisy and with that "wow" factor there are two Norwich firework displays this year which promise to be worth seeing. The only trouble is that they are both on the same night so you will have to make your choice.

One of the biggest Firework dispays of the year takes place at Earlham Park in Norwich on Saturday 5th November. This is the council run annual event featuring funfair, a colourful childrens display at 6.30pm and big bang fireworks at 8pm. Special buses and park & ride services will be laid on for the event.

The event is open from 5pm to 10pm.

The other display is at the Norfolk Showground - so you know it's going to be huge! This event takes place on the same night, Saturday 5th November.

There is ample free parking, funfair and fireworks set to music.

There is a childrens show at 6.30pm and the main display at 8.45pm.

There is also live music from 7.30pm

Both events offer discounts for early booking.
