Children’s entertainment with a difference in Northwich that budding young potters will love. Youngsters of all ages are welcome at The Potters Wheel.
If your children would jump at the chance to throw a pot or paint a mug, create a clay model or decorate a plate, come to The Potters Wheel in Northwich.
We host lots of fun children’s activities in our pottery. At The Potters Wheel there’s entertainment for everyone. And if it’s a party you’re after, we can organise that too.
Fun with paint
Youngsters can try their hand at painting mugs, plates, picture frames, ornaments, tiles and plaques. And they can take their newly painted works of art home with them.
At The Potters Wheel we run painting workshops from 10am to 5pm every day.
Learn to throw a pot
A chance to learn how to throw a pot on a real potter’s wheel. It only takes 10 minutes for our staff at The Potters Wheel to show your children how to create their own 8cm high pot, which can be painted in blue or green and fired for them to take home.
Hand build clay models
You can use clay to model pretty much anything you like. Let your children’s imaginations run wild.
How about a Christmas tree to add to the festive decorations? Or a ceramic pumpkin for Halloween? At The Potters Wheel we’ll help your youngsters use techniques like coiling and casting to make ceramic ornaments as presents or to keep.
Pottery fun for pre-school children
Peter’s Potters is our pre-school age pottery group that runs at The Potters Wheel from 11am to 12pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays during term-time. Bring your little ones to listen to a story with Peter, and enjoy an activity using clay that’s related to the story.
Join in after school
For after-school entertainment during term-time, take advantage of discount rates on our children’s activity sessions. Save money on painting activities and hand clay building workshops between 4pm and 5pm on school days.
