The very personal service is always outstanding, making you feel welcome each & every time you visit them.I have been buying from them for years, their trade-in department is very good, giving you excellent value for money, with a wide choice of new products to choose from. The second hand side is great too with a huge choice of great items to choose from, whether it is a small or large camera, lens, spotlight or other product, the choice is so much more than anyone else.The accessories side is fabulous, the choice here is brilliant, as you have many top Manufacturers products to look at, try out, & handle before you buy, no one else gives you such a wide choice with service second to none, & a smile to match, with outstanding knowledge of their products, I can really recommend them to anyone looking for anything to do with photography.

Skears is undoubtedly the best place to visit for all of your photographic needs.The staff there are fantastic and always have time for you no matter what service or help you require. Every time I have visited the shop I have always been impressed by their knowledgeable and professional attitudes and have never felt like they have been forcing a sale down my throat, unlike a lot of other larger chains. The language they use is always in terms that I understand and never have I ever felt patronised. Fantastic people with great customer service skills.With such a vast and extensive range of cameras you are likely to be able to find the one that suits you and your needs. The staff there are more than happy to spend time with you trying to find your perfect match. I appreciate the time they spent with me showing me the ins and outs of my new camera. I never felt like they were trying to get rid of me. I can't say a bad thing about this shop. Highly recommend this place.

Every time I visit the store, the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I print out a vast amount of photos from my travels, and they are as on hand to help. Any advice I need about my camera, Steve and his team are always there.

We bought my nephew a camera for his mum from Skears photographic for her xmas present and nothing was too much trouble. Steve was happy to demo a variety of cameras never once pressuring us to purchase the most expensive camera or a camera that didn't suit our needs. I hate a pressure sale which is why we love this shop good old fashioned customer service with friendly advice shame some of the bigger retailers don't follow their example. Well done Skears Photographic a real credit to our high street

The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you.They sell, not only new and refurbished cameras, but they also repair them onsite.
Whenever you go into the shop you are given a warm welcome, but are not 'hounded' by the staff. They are willing to spend time with you to work out what type of camera is best suited for you. Not just the one they want to sell you (like other retailers do) and best of all they are always there for back up should you have any sort of problem. (unlike the internet) It is one of the rare shops that still offer customer service.
The staff are always helpful, giving the right advice every time. They offer great value for money for cameras and printing services. Fast and efficient every time.
They are just so knowledgeable about everything photographic. Great range of new and used equipment, they even have their own mini lab, Everything the photographer wants and more :-)
The shop and website are very impressive and hold a large amount of stock. If there's something you want that they haven't got, they can obtain it quite quickly for you. The service is excellent and everyone is very friendly and helpful. They certainly know their stuff.
