Why send your child to study at Bosworth? What makes us unique?
Our results each year show the level of commitment that both the students and staff put in to ensure this success. 61% of our 2010 leavers went to the top 25 universities, 74% to the top 35 and 86% to the top 50. In a climate where University places are becoming more and more competitive, students have to perform right first time. Our results reflect the fact that everyone at the College strives to achieve their very highest potential, without the need for retakes. 78% of A Level grades were A or B.
With the college being made up of International and British students, all students gain a broader outlook on the world. With small classroom sizes averaging 8 students to a group, each student is at the centre of their own education. Our aim is to produce well balanced, confident and motivated individuals who respect and support each other. This environment is key to the students developing both academically and personally.
Mr McQuin (Executive Principal) states 'We ensure that students take ownership of their education and in return for their commitment we provide the tuition, the environment and the support to enable them to achieve their goals.
They have to 'buy' into their part of the contract, as do we. We've never had a single classroom discipline problem here in the 12 years that I have been here. I think that's because we provide a mutually trusting environment that has our students' development at the centre of what we do.
All our staff know the students so much better than in mainstream schools and none of them are allowed to 'hide or get lost' within our classes. We do place high demands on them, but we also devise individual strategies in order to meet the needs of the students.'
