Thebestof Northampton prints and distributes 20,000 magazines. We post over 3,000 by Royal Mail to businesses, and deliver 15,600 to homes in Northamptonshire. We only leave around 1,000 magazines in selected venues.

Most other magazines are simply given back to the actual advertisers, and a lot are left in pubs and shops to gather dust!

If you are looking to reach a much wider target market in Northampton, then have a look at our magazine and our distribution channels.

The magazine also supports and encourages more people to look at our website. We receved 16,400 hits in November 2009.

Hi Robin, I state your recorded comments " Thebestof Northampton prints 20,000 magazines. That is far more than any of its competitors and gets read by more people than any other magazine." Robin, I would suggest that you think very carefully and retract such an impertinent and over zealous comment. I would rather think Image Magazine and R Magazine would challenge this. Is it not the case that you print 20,000 per quarter? Far less I think than the top two magazines in the area. How can you be taken seriously when the figures don't stack up and comments jumped on the back that it is read by more people? I have a duty to inform my clients, I am sure you understand. Sincerely Francis Campbell. report abuse...

Secondly Robin, your and I presume your company's ethos, raises some questions to me.The very reason for both Image and R magazine and in fact City Life having presence in selected advertiser's own establishments (although it is my understanding that you too have some, if little presence in these establishments. A contradiction in itself!), to which you and your company are completely adverse to, is that it empowers the bond between local businesses. For example, why would a successful hairdresser or restaurant object to help promote a succesful jeweller and vis-a-vis? The very essence of this is that they will help each other and recognise that they will be seen equally and proportionally in a busy company with good footfall?? I understand that these magazine are not solely dedicated to distributing in advertisers establishments, quite the opposite.I would welcome your thoughts of course after discussion with your powers that be. Kind regards Francis Campbell. report abuse...
