La Pergola

Oh!  And just a quick one, before I forget - we went to La Pergola for dinner on Saturday night, just on the Welly Road.  What a FANTASTIC MEAL.  I had aubergines with tomatoes and mozzarella and Robin had the crab.  For main course, Robin had the seared Tuna and I had the most exquisite Fillet Steak I have ever had.  It was cooked to perfection and the mustard, cream and brandy sauce that accompanied it, was delicious.  The whole meal cost us just under £50 and that included a bottle of wine. 

I really do recommend this restaurant.  Mario, the owner is also the chef and he really knows what he's doing.  We left there really impressed with the service (we were given a jug of water when we walked in, rather than be charged for bottled water!), the food and the atmosphere.  A really elegant and lovely evening out!
