I go to this restaurant all the time, great place to take the family the staff are great and the atmosphere is relaxed. If you want good food and a great view over the marina this is the place to go.
Have stayed here a number of times. Nelsons Restaurant one of the best in Co Down for service and food , have never been disappointed. Have attended numerous functions over the years and the catering whether sit-down or buffet has always lived up to standard and keeps getting better if thatʼs possible. The staff are very friendly and welcoming with great knowledge of the area. Location is perfect with shops/entertainment on the doorstep, gorgeous views of the marina, ample parking or a 10 minute walk from the train station. Highly recommend for business or pleasure trips.
I was at the Maine Court Hotel with some friends at the weekend, we would go to restaurant quite alot and I have to say we havenʼt been disapointed yet. I wouid highly recommend this hotel and restaurant
my husband works in ireland and stays (through company) at this hotel and despite having expense account here still has to walk to local bar for evening meal as food is apalling we ve tried over 6 to 8 months to give it another chance and occassionaly get some thing edible but to no avail full meals have been sent back and staff and chef informed but nothing is ever done so hope this may not fall on deaf ears scampi was grey and raw so returned we thought we d just have cheese and biscuits one night but this was not even simple eough as just few lumps of cheese when we asked for crackers or bread and chutney we where brought large bowl of mustard the company my husband works for had 1 xmas party there and all agreed dreadfull we can t take business collegues there as first time we did it had to be returned and no one will eat there now as result i think it s just plate fulls of mushy veg they have prime position as only venue for miles and just get away with ignoring real comments we ve never seen other than large parties not couples and very few return as we have never heard any hting other than terrible reviews on food it may be good value to some but most people don t see mountains of mush good value when they have leave it or send it back and eat else where night after night it s time some one actually did something rather than agree yes it is dreadfull
I had a night out at Bar Mocha a couple of weekends ago with a few friends for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised, the music was great and the atmosphere was fantastic. I would thoroughly recommend Bar Mocha for a fun night out.
I went for a meal here last week and thought it was great. The menu is very extensive and even the very fussy eater should be able to find something they like. Food was delicious and the portions huge. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome, Would definitely go again and would recommend to anyone.
Great restaurant for a wide variety of food. Pleasant staff, reasonable prices and nice ambiance. Would highly recommend it.
Have had several lovely stays in Marine Court Hotel. The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to be helpful. It is ideally situated facing the harbour and has nice views. Would highly recommend it.
