We have been running thebestofnorthcotswolds and thebestofstroud for about 2 years. Prior to that we ran a successful business, based in Banbury & Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire, importing and selling artificial plants. After running this for 18 years, & being bought out by a PLC - we decided not to stay on but to have a change, and The Best Of .... provided the opportunity to stay in the area that we love, and really get into the heart of the population. Des thoroughly enjoys visiting clients and prospective clients and helping them grow their business - and Anne gets to grips with writing the features and events.
We have one daughter, just about to start her 2nd year @ University, and a variety of chickens, sheep, guinea fowl, cats, dogs and horses! Spare time is spent mending the damage done to fences by the sheep (& horses!), cooking & gardening with the occasional round of golf and horse based events - all very low key, but fun! We ski when we can & dream about it when we can't!
