IN THE UK IN 2011 !
Wyatts Farm Shop & Garden Centre in Gt Rollright on the edge of the Cotswolds was started some 20 years ago by John & Pat Wyatt to fill a perceived need locally for a good Farm Shop. How right they were, and much the site has grown! From just a Cotswold farm shop initially Wyatts now has a very well known and valued Plant Centre & Nursery, a Gift Shop, a Butcher and Delicatessen & a Café! Coaches are welcome, by appointment - and are regularly hosted - spend a whole day at Wyatts and do your shopping, sort the garden out, have lunch and buy something for supper - all under cover in a very relaxed and relaxing atmosphere!
PLANT CENTRE & NURSERY @ WYATTS:
Wyatts has something for your garden, every season of the year & specialise in plants suitable for The Cotswolds terrain. In the spring come and find something new or some old favourites - plants and seeds for gardens, containers and vegetable patches - or why not get Wyatts in-house horticulturalist or garden designer to plan a complete Cotswold garden make-over with you - currently they are working on a garden for a famous local cookery star! Wyatts Plant Centre really is famous for their hanging baskets - somehow they manage to make them full and glorious and they last so much longer than anything you put together yourself! Summer bedding plants are another speciality and with plants from Wyatts Garden Centre you can be assured of glorious colour all summer long.Autumn and winter are also busy times for Cotswolds based Wyatts Garden Centre, with a huge range of spring and summer flowering bulbs coming in to stock as well as a wide selection of mature trees, roses and bare root trees.Wyatts love Christmas! Henry Lawrence is the "in house" Butcher at Wyatts Cotswold Farm Shop & Garden Centre and the quality of the meat supplied is, genuinely, second to none. Henry only "buys local" from Cotswolds suppliers and is able to tell you provenance of everything he sells. Henry is able to supply locally produced Cotswold meat, poultry and game - and is a dab hand at his Gold Award prize winning sausages, patés & special cuts. Speak to Henry for a Crown of Lamb, boned joints or anything really special. For the perfect Cotswold Christmas, you really SHOULD be buying your fresh bronze or Norfolk turkeys or Goose from a local butcher - so make sure you order with Henry Lawrence tin good time!
