Fabulous lunch. Possibly the best chips I've ever had! Fresh cooked food, all the best pub dishes (gammon, egg & chips, steak & kidney pie etc) for a great valaue price. Lovely decor and kids welcomed. HIGHLY recommend.

We all met here for a pre-Christmas meal - having read the VERY good reviews of the new chef - we weren't disappointed! We all had something different, and all thoroughly enjoyed the very high standard of cooking - and the creme brulee - what a fab idea! We came on a Wednesday and were delighted to qualify for a free bottle of wine - we will definitely be back for more!

Had a great meal in The White Horse restaurant - ambience is really conducive to 'lingering long' and great 'mine hosts'. Trust the Huskies are doing well? Monty, our cocker spaniel, enjoyed the attention!
