Open from Tuesday to Sunday for lunch - you can choose a chunky homemade sandwich or light starter such as smoked salmon & Baby Spinach Tart or go for a more traditional shoulder of Cotswolds Spring Lamb with creamed cabbage, crushed potatoes & a red wine jus - and who could resist the offer of a panfried Ribeye steak with garlic butter & all the trimmings, followed by one of the truly delicious puddings on offer or Creme Brulee of the day! All food prepared at The White Horse, Stonesfield is sourced locally, from their butcher in Woodstock, to their wine company in Oxford & local small vegetable producers - everything is carefully picked for quality, seasonality & freshness - just as you would expect from a top class Cotswolds hostelry! At The White Horse, the menu changes weekly to reflect what suppliers have to offer and "what's hot" that week.

Tables are only booked out once - so take your time and enjoy the truly splendid food and ambience of this delightful Cotswolds pub - and then take a stroll along some of the footpaths and bridleways in the area or enjoy the attractive gardens.
THURSDAY SPECIAL MENU
Thursday night sees a special menu - this changes regularl and could be Italina, Mexican, Thai or even Gluten free - and if you hvae a good idea, speak to the Chef and they might just take you up on it.
PARTIES
The White Horse in Stonesfield is also a great Cotswolds venue! Attached to the main pub is a delightful old Cotswold stone barn perfect for parties, and incorporating a Skittle Alley! The barn has its own bar area - so guests don't need to go back to the pub for drinks or food - and The White Horse is happy to create a special menu for your event and then book out the barn for you with your own dedicated staff!
JAZZ
Alvin Roy and his band will be playing in The Barn at The White Horse on the first Wednesday of every month. Come & have a pint of their excellent ale and enjoy some great jazz in one of the best pubs in The Cotswolds!
