I love the variety of productions that the theatre has. The quality of their productions and the shows/people who come to perform is of the highest, they are incredibly inclusive with classes and projects for all ages to take part in. The holidays events for children are fantastic. I love the theatre and would quite happily go every night of the week to something going on there if I only had the time and money.

Chipping Norton Theatre is an absolute gem. Under the excellent directorship of John Terry, this incredible little theatre is worthy of West End status. Patrons are treated to high quality productions in a delightful environment; a cordial atmosphere with helpful, professional staff; and a forward looking organisation that is dedicated to its patrons, the arts and its role within the community.

I am from Texas where everything is Bigger, Better and Not to be Matched ... and I have never experienced such ambiance, professionalism, innovative and orgasmic performances in my life. Every time a new adventure, every time a new sensation, every time a visit into a world of escapism and every time a reason to say 'thank you' for making my day just that little bit better! This comes from such a small theatre, yet, everytime I attend, I feel 'at home', and you can't get much better than that. Well Done, Theatre of Chipping Norton.

I love Chipping Norton Theatre. The annual pantomime is something I look forward to every year. Since I was a child I have enjoyed The Theatre and now I'm 21 and live in Durham, I still go and laugh just as much. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. People of all ages flock there. This year I went with my boyfriend who also used to go as a child and he was filled with nostalgic love for the panto.

Always friendly staff. The only place to see good films locally, very varied programme of theatre, music and dance. Nice bar too! An essential part of our lives.

Wonderful pantomimes and a fantastic atmosphere!

It offers a wide range of musical, theatrical and cinema entertainment and it's like stepping back in time. It is a tiny gem of a place, in beautiful condition and a real local asset

Great little theatre, always has something on to suit everybody either live music plays, or films.
Also not expensive to join and attend.

It's flair, it's originality and it's charm. It is a significant venue attracting repertoire performers and entertainers. It runs an eclectic film programme as well as providing classes and courses for local children. Long may it last!

Has a great atmosphere wonderful plays, musicals etc. and a brilliant panto every year. Something for everyone.

I love the old style atmosphere, the helpful staff, the unusual, stimulating and varied programme of events that's put on.

"Chippy Theater", as it is known locally , is the most wonderful place. It has approx 150 seats and is intimate and welcoming and has been totally refurbished over recent years.
Its programmes include film,live music, standup comedy and plays. There is always a good variety to choose from throughout the season and is extremely well supported.
Its main attracted has to be the yearly Panto with over 20,000 people coming from all over the country.!
Its The Best !

Chipping Norton Theatre has over the years offered a superb range of theatrical, musical and family entertaining packages. It has drawn some big name stars of stage and screen to provide an enjoyable experience. The pantomimes that they hold over the Christmas period are a laugh-along and I always leave with a big smile afterwards. Television is in decline, and I regularly look forward to a visit to the theatre in Chipping Norton. I have also starred on stage at Chipping Norton Theatre so I know how well it is supported

This is a fantastic, intimate and friendly venue for live music, theatre, cinema and a great annual pantomime complete with sweets thrown into the audience!

The Theatre, Chipping Norton is a big theatre in a small place. It provides the local community - and people from all over the Cotswolds with exciting innovative drama, music, venues, art exhibitions, a meeting place and lovely atmosphere. There's no where like it.

It is a wonderful quirky place that gladdens the heart each time I attend. Everyone strives to make your visit memorable.

I love the intimacy of this delightful theatre which enables you to really feel a part of the actual play/show, along with the range and high standard of material and performance. The staff are particularly friendly, welcoming and helpful adding to its the charm. As an add on, the theatre brings people in from far and wide who inevitably support other businesses in the town.

I work at The Theatre when not an University - they are a great bunch of people and it's a fantastic place. The artists and films are all carefully selected to bring a wide range of performances to the area and some of the art exhibitions upstairs are just fantastic. Everyone should come along, the theatre is beautiful inside and a real asset to the area!
