We have just had the most fantastic lunch at the Moon and Sixpence and cannot sing their praises enough on every area. The food and presentation was 1st class, service was excellent and the ambience was perfect. We went for the Table D'hote 2-course lunch, which was the best value we have had in years, and we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome if we had spent 'big money' on their a la carte menu. I enjoy rose wine at lunch time and I just happened to ask, the excellent waitress, which one was the driest and she suggested that I had a taste of both to see which I preferred. Tell me - how often do you come across that in this day and age! My Calves liver was perfection and the dessert of rich chocolate tart, beautifully presented, was heaven. Certainly somewhere that we will return to many times, especially for special occasions, and certainly recommend to all and sundry. Thank you Hylton and look forward to returning soon.
