Poulissen offers exclusive, secluded 1-bedroomed holiday accommodation in the breathtaking paradise that is Provence. Nestled away in the stunning scenery of Haute Provence, Poulissen is a 16th Century Farmhouse/Bergerie in the Vaucluse area.
The English owners have lived in France for over fifteen years - renovating Poulissen themselves, from the original abandoned Bergerie. The house is now a beautiful, tranquil and cool home with what must be some of the most beautiful views in France, let alone Provence!
The Gite is a self contained 1-bedroomed apartment, with it's own bathroom and small kitchen + a beautiful salon furnished with Provencal fabrics and antiques. Once you've had your breakfast on the terrace at Poulissen, nowhere will ever seem as good!
Whilst being secluded, Poulissen is within easy reach of some of the real jewels of Provence - Apt, with it's famous market, Avignon, Aix en Provence, Carpentras etc as well as some truly memorable "Caves" (or wine cellars) & suppliers of all sorts of culinary delicacies such as truffles, new season olives, fresh fruits and vegetables and of course lavender!
Eat in, after a good shop at the local market, and a basket full of home made terrines, bread, wine & olives, or try some of the many local restaurants - everything from a home made pizza to the most astounding culinary expertise - Provence will NOT disappoint you!
Poulissen is also based in the middle of cycling heaven - the Tour de France passes close by, and cyclists can be found pedalling up, or down, Mont Ventoux all year round!
