The two Wedding and Civil Ceremony packages from The Mill House Hotel are designed to make everything work smoothly & to remove all concerns about the planning of THE day, and to ensure that everyone, including the Bride & Groom enjoys every minute of their Cotswold Wedding day. The first is based on Exclusive Weekend use of the hotel throughout the year, & the second on a more flexible choice midweek.
Civil Wedding Ceremonies can be held in a simple, relaxed atmosphere in one of 4 licensed rooms accommodating from 12 to 60 guests.
The exclusive weekend use option ensures that the Wedding Party are the only guests at the Mill House Hotel throughout the weekend, ensuring undivided attention from arrival on Friday lunchtime to noon on Sunday. The Mill House Hotel becomes a Private Cotswold Country House with every requirement met by a dedicated team of over twenty long service staff.
A wedding is much more than a service and a reception, and the Mill House Hotel has 23 bedrooms with beautiful Cotswold views across the gardens and surrounding Oxfordshire countryside. All rooms have en-suite facilities, satellite t.v., direct dial telephone and a complimentary hospitality tray & all were refurbished recently to the highest international standards. A chauffeur-driven Mercedes courtesy car is available to and from the local Kingham Station for those who wish to travel to the Cotswolds by train & The Mill House Hotel has a helicopter landing site in the grounds.
The cuisine of Head Chef, Matt Dare, is renowned locally & has been awarded Two AA Rosettes, as well as 2009 recommendations in the AA Restaurant Guide & Michelin Restaurant Guides.
