L'Academie is delighted to be able to offer discreet wig fitting consultations & fittings in the Cotswolds at their newly opened private wig fitting area. Since opening in the North Cotswolds in 2004, staff at L'Academie have often been asked about a wig fitting and styling service, and recognised that this is an area requiring expertise and tact. With the team's combined experience, knowledge and contacts, they are now able to offer their Cotswold clients a full service. L'Academie works closely with a leading French wig supplier, NJ, who has many years experience in this area. L'Academie staff aim to assist clients in choosing the ideal wig - for style, colour and fit.
NJ have a pioneered an anti-slip wig "Novicap-Liberty", holding perfectly to both skin and hair. All of L'Academie's wigs use this system and it creates a feeling of complete security that the wig will stay firmly in place, with no slipping. L'Academie holds a large range of wigs in stock in dozens of different styles and colours, and are able to get anything not stocked, direct from Paris, in 48 hours.
As well as full wigs, L'Academie also stocks a new type of wig called Cap Line - these are a totally new concept, also from France, and are designed for clients with very short and thin hair. The wig is designed with a very open mesh, so that the clients own hair can be pulled through - to create a completely natural effect and add volume and bounce. These wigs are made to order and there is a huge range of colours, 74 to be precise - so clients are sure to find a good match to their own hair.
ALL L'Academie staff are fully trained in wig styling and fitting and able to advise on every aspect of wig fitting & design.
L'Academie is also able to offer semi-permanent make-up and medical tattooing for cancer patients who have had constructive surgery and need areola restoration.
