Durhams Farm is a lovely place to come and share your love of horses and riding. It is a very friendly yard, with lovely horses and ponies, great staff and beautiful countryside for hacking out. A busy place with lots of children having fun with ponies - just like it used to be when we were kids!

i came to durhams farm last summer. i soon made loads of friends and i currently loan one of there amazing ponies. there is always a lovely atmophere and help when you need it.

Absolutley brilliant, an amazing stables. Ive been going for over one year and have seen my confidence leap bounds. Everyone is so friendly and Im happy to ask even stupid sounding questions & to have them answered professionally.

I have even competed in a couple of local shows. I count all the staff as my friends and love all the horses and ponies.

I can't believe how much I have improved my riding under Pat and her teams instructions. Only last year I was a nervous, unskilled rider and now Im confident, loving cantering and hacking out.

A friendly team, who make you feel comfortable and welcome. Listen to any fears or concerns you may have as a new or more experienced rider and work at a pace suitable to you.

My two horses came to Durhams Farm for a week when I went on holiday. I arrived home to almost a foot of snow and couldn't get to pick them up. Pat was fantastic and kept them on for another 10 days until I could get the lorry out! They both came home looking well and happy - and one of them is 31 years old! Pat and her team looked after 30 horses throughout the bad weather and did it with a smile at all times - even down to getting the vet out to one at 10 at night who looked a bit colicy and breaking ice on water troughs day in day out. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Durhams Farm to anyone with horses - Pat is compassionate and knowledgeable and it shows!

We have recently moved to Chipping Norton from Cambridgeshire and like to have our grandchildren to stay. We discovered Durhams Farm Stables soon after we moved and have found them to be welcoming each time we take our grandchildren. Their mum was very impressed and she has had past experience of stables. A wonderful local resource for both locals and visitors.

A really friendly and welcoming yard with decent horses and ponies - great tuition in the school & fantastic hacking across the countryside. When my children started learning to ride, I decided to return to the saddle after years of absence - Pat offered lots of encouragement and support and several years on I now have my own horse at livery at Durhams. Whether youʼre new to riding or more experienced and looking a great ride, you wonʼt be disappointed - thereʼs nowhere better for miles around!!!

Really enjoy hacking out from Durhams, Pat has some very good horses for the novice or more experienced rider who wants pushing a bit! The countryside around Chastleton is absolutely amasing and Pat has access to some great tracks with stunning views!
