Grounded is a unique coffee shop that is in the heart of Newry and Mourne. Owner Graeme Finegan is simply passionate about coffee, providing customers with coffee made from top quality coffee beans. All food is home made and carefully selected by Graeme, a bit like the specially trained Barista staff who know how to make coffee properly...

What makes Grounded so unique, compared to most coffee shops is that it is an ethical trading company specialising in fairtrade and organic coffees, teas and chocolates. Also unlike any other coffee shop in Northern Ireland, Grounded provides live music performed by local/national singers and songwriters.
Grounded provides a food menu right up until 10pm, catering for those late night shopping trips in Newry and Mourne. The espresso bar provides a relaxing and chilled environment, with funky decor and very friendly staff who take your order when you sit down. Say goodbye to standing in a queue waiting to place your order after a long hard day because in Grounded, you come in sit down and relax...

Grounded Espresso Bars in Newry is one of, if not the best coffee shop. The atmosphere is always friendly, relaxing and enjoyable. The staff are always willing to help and get you what you need when you need it. The owner Graeme is extremely helpful, caring and you can tell that he is passionate and enthusiastic about his business. The business always looks clean and tidy. It is a lovely place to catch up with old friends or simply to grab a cup of coffee on your way to work. I love Grounded :)
Iʼve been to Grounded loads of times with my friends.Iʼve tried different types of coffee and i especially love the Mint Latte and their hot chocolate is lovley as well

a very enjoyable setting right in the centre of newry. the food and coffee were exceptional and the staff were very friendly and efficient.
i live in lurgan but i may as well live in grounded...me and my mates are there continuously...any money i actually have is spent in grounded i love it so much...the food and drinks are so nice and all the staff are sooooooo friendly...and its so comfy we never want to leave! every other café sucks compared to grounded!
GROUNDED IS THE BEST! it isthe best place ever for hot chocolate and evrything else..... once you have been in grounded you could never go anywhere else for coffee!-true story! and the staff are so nice!... they are great craic and FINE *cough-Graeme*!!!!.... WOOOOO! WE ⥠GROUNDED!!!!!!
As regular friday morning coffee drinkers, we find ourselves wanting a coffee now every day!! Grounded coffee shop has so much more to offer than just good coffee!!!!The personal touch from staff helps you enjoy your caffine experience even more. Full marks from us girls down the street !
i love grounded. its a great place to get some good food, and just watch the day go by. Also you can have great craic with the friendly staff and enjoy the live music!
Fantastic Latte. Theres a young guy works behind counter, he has served me before, and was there again today. Best Latte iʼve had anywhere. Takes time to chat too. 1st class venue, highly recommended indeed, do try this Coffee Emporium. I reall must catch some music there soon
the coffee is brilliant there is a lot of different drinks available the staff are freindly and talk to you the food is amazing the atmosphere is relaxed and the music from the live bands are truly amazing
Had one of the best coffees I have had in a long time, and the fifteen was so big, I had to take 1/2 home to eat later. They are truley nerdish about coffee and are passionate about serving the best coffee, food, and music. You would be a fool to go elsewhere.
I absolutely love Grounded! The coffee is superb & there is always a great buzz about the place. Great music as well & staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome!
