Founded in 1996, Gareth Rees Electrical has steadily built a reputation of reliability and excellence, second-to-none.

Based in Newport South Wales, Gareth is a fully qualified and insured, light commercial and domestic electrician.

Since studying electrical engineering at college, Gareth specialised in ICT and Data networking, analysis and warehousing for Lloyds TSB Bank before setting up G&G Energy Management Ltd, (Newport) with his wife Gemma, in 1996.

Today, over 90% of his work is referral-based (word-of-mouth) and is primarily in the domestic field. Whatever your electrical requirements, Gareth guarantees that he will not be beaten for total honesty, transparency and quality of service.

“I take an open-minded approach to any work that comes my way. I offer practical advice, will assist with planning and layouts, or just do what’s required (provided it conforms to regulation). - What the customer wants, they get, every time.”

Past work has ranged from the electrical installation of a swimming pool, to changing a light bulb for an old-age-pensioner – and quite literally, just about everything and anything else, in-between.

Qualified to the highest level – City and Guilds 17^th Edition, C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing, NICEIC Approved Contractor, ‘Part-P’ Registered – Gareth is professionally assessed on an annual basis, ensuring that he is kept up to date on all legislative requirements and new technology and advancements. Gareth is also CRB certified.

From Hi-spec re-wires, to new installations, security lighting, security alarm systems, CCTV installation, fault-finding, safety testing and safety reports – no job is too big or too small.

Gareth also offers special rates for OAP’s.
