Ffin Dance, what can I say? I was privileged to spend time with them all whilst they refined their new work “Five Dance” with the wonderful opportunity to capture images of each of the enthusiastic, energetic and skilled dancers.
The whole experience was like being with family and friends helping each other create something special. Not only do they do their own work but teach classes for all age groups. Spreading their knowledge and helping to build confidence and creativity,
Ffin Dance is open to all and will also take on private projects for special events.

And a special mention to the home of Ffin Dance the Met theatre and staff.

Ffin Dance are an energetic and enthusiastic company with a huge passion for dance. Their creative approach encourages dancers to work closely with music, and to develop very personal interpretations of it, in a real collaboration of movement and music. I recently spent a week with the company working on ‘Five Dances’ - a new work to be toured in the Spring 2012, for which I have written the music - and it was inspirational to watch the choreographical process. The musicians (Platform 4) and I were impressed by the dancers’ ability to improvise and remember long and complex strings of movements and we were in awe of their, apparently, boundless energy.
