China Town, is a take-away based in Rogerstone, near Newport. Owned and operated by a husband and wife team, known locally as Alun and Jenny. Both originate from Hong Kong but have lived and worked in the UK now for over 17 years.
Back in Hong Kong, Alun was a highly respected fire-fighter for the Hong Kong Fire Department. His real passion however, was for cooking - and he eventually decided to follow in his brother's foot steps and move to the UK to open his own Chinese Take-Away, something he had 'dreamed about doing for a long time.' (At 'thebestof' we've often heard the expression 'Out of the frying pan, into the fire!' - but never, the other way around!)
Alun and Jenny successfully run the China Town Take Away, in Rogerstone, Newport, and have accumualted a very large, diverse, happy - and well-fed - customer base.

The food is prepared and cooked in a very simple but ancient cooking style, that has been passed down through generations of Alun's family.
