Just a brief line to thank you for the meeting on Friday. It was a great experience, the venue is excellent and I actually enjoyed the breakfast,........... and I thought the idea of changing tables was brilliant.

This networking group offers the following advantages- a good venue with great breakfast, a wide range of business represented at the meetings.
There is a combination of structured networking and an educational slot with interesting and relevant speakers. Once a month is frequent enough to keep in touch with people - other groups meet once a week which soon becomes a bind.

I had been meaning to get to a VELC meeting for months and months ... eventually made it, and what a fantastic event. The venue alone made the early rise worth it. I particularly liked the idea of 'table hopping' which ensured that we all met far more people than we could have just standing up and mingling. I do a fair amount of networking and this is one of the best events I've been to. I look forward to the next one!

Ian, thank you once again a fantastic breakfast event. I've attended the Very Early Lunch Club on a regular basis and I am so pleased to receive some excellent business directly from meeting other like minded business people.
The topics and speakers are always informative, extremely interesting and I've had some great free professional advice. With so many other networking events in and around Cambridge and trying to fit in valuable time management then I'm glad the VELC has given me the platform to make new business associates and to continue many business friendships.

The VELC is a really positive networking experience. The team at thebestof make sure that you’re introduced to interesting people, and the venue at Anglesey Abbey is a great place to start the day. I came away from the last event with two business contacts that I’m meeting with soon. I really enjoyed the talk by Gareth Baldwin too – a really inspirational guy.

I love the new venue. Although further to travel to, it is such a beautiful setting it relaxes all the visitors immediately.
The new space enables a much larger group of people to get together who I have found to be so interesting and useful for my clients and my own business.
The variety of speakers are stimulating, thought provoking and challenging.
It is also a really safe environment for people who are new to networking to experience the friendliness of all the members of VELC

As a keen networker myself and knowing Mr Ian Clemson and his team well, I was invited to attend a VELC meeting in June, what a fantastic event it was. For giving up two hours my day I was able to meet new business owners who like me want to see our businesses grow. Those that attended were treated to a presentation from the Chairman of Histon football club, his inspiration, determination and true grit was testament to his success.
For anyone who is sceptical about networking or who doesn’t know the potential benefits that can be achieved from networking, should just give it a go. When I very first started networking over two years ago, it certainly opened my eyes and so my own business has purely grown due to recommendations from relationships that have been created through networking.
