Artist in Residence
The National Stud has recently started a new scheme to promote talented local artists, by inviting them to have a residency in the studio at Weatherby's Pavillion at the stud.
This year's artist in residence is Chris Winch, an artist from Wood Ditton, just a couple of miles from Newmarket.
He has already had work selected for exhibitions with the Society of Equestrian Artists and with a love of the sculptural qualities of horses and dogs, we feel that he is the perfect choice for our first artist in residence.
