Had a great meal and a brilliant evening. I recommend the pidgeon starter, a taste sensation, my main course steak was one of the best I have ever had and cooked to perfection. The staff were really friendly and made a big group very welcome.
I have driven past here hundreds of times and never been in- what a cracking steak - the best I have had for a long time.
Started with a great pint of real ale. Thecountry pub is lovely and welcoming. Whith a huge variety of steaks!The steak was huge and tender the best since.... I cannot remember! There was a good selection of starters and other main courses too.
A great atmosphere and the food was lovely. The steaks melt in your mouth and the homemade strawberry cheesecake was heavenly!
With a fabulous selection of ales and steaks we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. A real country pub and a great find
