I had the lamb tandoori - it was the most tender piece of lamb I have ever eatn. I had the most amazing night. I have been here 4 times and every time the food has been delicious. I will be back soon!

I went to Montaz in Newmarket yesterday and the food was amazing and the staff were superb. One of my friends asked for something not on the menu and the staff said "No problem, we will make that for you"... I look forward to going back there again soon!

Staff very friendly. There was a poor choice for vegetarians though I was advised I could have a larger starter as a main course. The chef made a special vegetable curry for me.
beautifully decorated & furnished restaurant with food to match, a nice choice of dishes, not just your typical indian restaurant meals, the speciality dishes are hard to choose between as so many sounded delicious, 2 of us opted for the salmon (in an almond sauce) 1 for a lamb dish & another a chicken titka .. we had a couple of sides & a delicous ginger & honey naan ... the service was fantastic & the presentation of all the dishes was very good.we also had a dessert, which we never do at an indian & we tried the chocosamosas (chocolate samosas, with a good vanilla ice cream)Its a really lovely place, great for a group of people as well a couples.we will definatly be back

The menu offers a great combination of both traditional and modern dishes. We were a party of 4 all choosing different meals, and ended up having 3 courses including side dishes. The food was absoutely delicious, presentation was amazing ,and service throughout the evening was of a high standard. We will definately be returning.
Fantastic decour, staff and food. Exceeded our expectation by a country mile. It is fine Indian Cuisine and you will not find a chicken korma in sight. From Sea Bass to chocolate samosas for desert - wonderful. A good choice of wines and beers too.
