Rockverne Kennels and Cattery were established in 1967 and have been under our ownership since 2003. We own, manage and operate the business ourselves, which guarantees personal care and attention for your pets at all times.
We are located in the countryside, yet Rockverne Boarding Kennels and Cattery is only 15 minutes from Newcastle and Gateshead.
Our Boarding kennels and Cosy Cottage Cattery are heated in the winter months. The cattery is an indoor and outdoor facility in the summer.
Rockverne Boarding Kennels and Cattery fees are very reasonable. The prices shown include the day of arrival and departure and there are no hidden extras.
Dogs £9 per day
Cats £6 per day
All the dogs at Rockverne Boarding Kennels, are exercised twice daily in their own individual run, where they can see the other dogs, but do not come into direct contact for their own health benefit.
Rockverne Boarding Kennels and Cattery of Ryton, Newcastle are able to put you in contact with a reliable Pet Taxi service who operate a collection and delivery service for those who need their pets transported.
Our Kennels and Cattery opening hours are:
Mon - Fri 9.00am to 6.00pm daily.
Sat 9.00am - 12.00pm
Sun 9.00am - 6.00pm

As with all reputable kennels and catteries, all dogs and cats who visit Rockverne must be vaccinated. We also request that dogs have a 'kennel cough' immunisation for boarding between the months of May and September when the virus is most active. Please refer to your vet for further advise on any vaccinations required.
Inspected twice annually by Gateshead Council.
