Jesko's hairdressing hands are light and careful, almost divine! He is one of the best hairdressers I've been even been to, and he definitely knows how to 'discipline' my unruly curly hair - and there are not many people who do know how to work with curly hair here in the UK. Fantastic cuts, and a nice experience every time I visit. Highly recommended.

Found details of hair mechanics by chance on this website ast week. Its quite far out of my local area but as it had great reviews I booked my appointment for full colour and cut. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. I have been coming to Hair Mechanics for over a year now and the condition of my hair has significantly improved, even my friends have commented on how good it looks.

iv'e visited many salons over the years but have to say none have ever come close to hair mechanics.the salon itself is so relaxing and comfy and the time spent there is a pleasure.the staff are wonderful making each customer feel unique and important.nothing is to much trouble for them,their so friendly and obliging.

The level of customer service is second to none. I have been a customer since Jesko started the business and I can always rely on all of the staff to give me a fantastic experience every time I visit; in fact, I feel like one of the family! The technical skills are also in place and I have never yet been disappointed with the results of my hair and beauty appointments. Jesko appreciates his regular customers and never makes special offers to 'new customers only' but always includes all of his customers. In short, I would not dream of going anywhere else for my hair and beauty treatments.

For years I hated going to the hair dressers and frequently changed supplier, bored by their banal conversation and disappointed by most hair dressers inability to cut naturally curly hair. Jesko Wilson Gielnik from Hair Mechanics is simply the best hair dresser in the North East. He makes it his business to know exactly what I am hoping to achieve before starting to cut. He gives excellent experienced advice and he just knows instinctively what will be the best look for me. Over the years we have been experimental with my hair styles and I have always been satisfied. I recommend him very highly and think he is the most passionate and committed hairdresser I have ever been to.

The service both in terms of the quality of the hair cut and the immense frendliness of ALL of the staff.
Nothing is too much of a problem with the staff from making a welcome cup of coffee to offering free samples of hair products.
They really make you feel part of the family when you go there with good banter and great wit and done in a very sensitive way if needs be.

Jesko has the eyes of an artist, the hands of a master craftsman, a great sense of humour and hospitality and has created the best hair and beauty salon in Newcastle. Originally a super model and celebrity hairstylist from Hamburg within months of arriving in Newcastle he was winning TV awards and has put together the best team in Newcastle. I can't recommend him enough. It no lie to say I fly back fromall over Europe especially to have him do my hair. I popped into Hair mechanics on the off chance that they'd have an appointment free luckily they did. They sat me down and we had a great consultation and their manor was very calming as i was nervous about getting my hair cut. They talked me through a few suggestions and i decided on a graduated bob.. very daring for myself but i was confident in the stylists abilities. a coffee and a hair wash and my hair looked/ looks amazing i have had nothing but positive comments since i would highly recomend hair mechancis to everyone and i will be returning for another hair cut the next time im in newcastle. i have never been happier with a hair cut.

i have been to hair mechanics a couple of times and each time i go i get warm, friendly welcome from all the staff. I wanted to change my colour from black to red, i knew it would be hard but jesko was really helpfull in helping me to find the colour and do it in a way that wouldnt damage my hair. He is very honest when it comes to what I would (and would'nt)suit, which is a very important quality in a hairdresser as I do need advice and direction when it comes to hairstyles. hair mechanics is an amazin hairdressers. its the best hairdressers i have ever been to. my hairdresser is Jesko and he is always really friendly and happy and has conversations with you about whatever your interested in. the salon is really clean and tidy and really modern. the chairs at the basin are recliners and are so comfy. the hairdressers is really relaxing and Jesko does your hair exactly as you ask him too. i have never liked my hair colour so much! the salon is really well priced too. its fab. i would deffo recoment this hairdressers to everyone!!!
