Café Royal is one of Newcastle’s leading contemporary cafes.  Conveniently located in the central Grainger Town area of Newcastle, close to the major shopping areas, car parks and metro system.

As well as the cafe, we have a deli and brasserie.  Indulge your taste buds whether it be for breakfast, morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea.

All our cakes, pastries & breads are baked fresh everyday using the finest ingredients by the renowned artisan Café Royal Bakery, which features in Rick Stein’s Food Heroes.

Our Deli is a haven of delicious storecupboard essentials supplemented by the finest English cheeses and a wide range of pestos and olives. Alongside is our range of Artisan Specialty breads which are baked traditionally and are free from artificial additives or preservatives.  We are proud to be the only North East stockist of the Daylesford Organics Range from Gloucestershire. There is an extensive organic range of preserves, oils, dressings & vinegars, pastas and sauces.

Our mezzanine Brasserie above the cafe is available for bookings throughout the week and is the ideal place for Brunch at the weekends. Sundays are a great time to catch up with the papers over Brunch which is served 10am-4pm.
