The Upper Thames Branch of Butterfly Conservation invites you to join us to discover spring butterflies at this historic site.

We will search for spring butterflies including Small Blue, Dingy Skipper and maybe Duke of Burgundy, plus day-flying moths.

 

Join us on a trip to BBOWT Seven Barrows Nature Reserve: nationally important for its archaeology as well as its wildlife, this ancient and atmospheric site has a wonderful variety of chalk grassland flowers and butterflies.

 

We will explore areas of grassland on the reserve to see some of our spring butterflies and other wildlife. We will also stroll along the road and up the track towards Crog Hill to see what we can find there. Target speciesDingy SkipperSmall Blue, possibly Duke of Burgundy and day-flying moths.
