A great family day out is on offer at Highclere Castle on Easter Sunday. For children completing our Easter egg hunt, the prize of a chocolate egg is on offer. Feeling creative? Then why not make an Easter bonnet for our bonnet parade - with prizes on offer for the winning designs? How about a Downton Abbey-ish design?
Plenty of entertainment will be available during the afternoon, including: classic Ferrari cars for the 'big boys'; a tethered hot air balloon for a panoramic view of Highclere Castle grounds; a bouncy castle slide and a 'barrel train' to help get around the grounds; an animal petting farm for children to get up close to furry friends; a grand raffle will be held during the afternoon and huge children's toy tombola, with great prizes on offer. Lots more to see and do, come along and join us.
A small entrance fee will be charged to access the grounds and Easter egg hunt activities, with any visitors wishing to see the Castle paying standard entrance fees.
