Newbury College offers around 2000 full and part time courses. Full time courses cover a range of vocational subjects from Entry Level to HNCs. Part time courses cover a variety of subjects from leisure to professional and post graduate qualifications and we operate out of around 40 venues across West Berkshire.

 

The College has achieved Certification in the Training Quality Standard. The Training Quality Standard is an assessment framework designed to recognise and celebrate the best organisations delivering training and development solutions. Assessment of the standard evaluates the practices, processes and performance of a training provider's responsiveness to employers' training needs.

Bespoke Training Solutions

Newbury College are skilled in developing training packages specifically for individual companies. We offer a full training needs analysis at your work place to establish your specific training requirements. Management One Day Workshop

One and two day short training seminars in a range of supervisory and management areas. Held at Newbury College Business Centre.


Legal Compliance Training

Training to cover legal requirements of the workplace, for example First Aid, Risk Assessment and Health and Safety training. held at Newbury College Business Centre.


IT Training

IT courses covering a wide range of subjects available at the Newbury College Business Centres in Newbury and Calcot, Reading.


Professional Qualification Course

Day and evening classes for those wishing to gain a recognised qualification to progress their career. Courses are delivered at the Monks Lane campus and at the Newbury College Business Centre in Newbury.

Full Time Courses

 

Newbury College - Your route to University and the career of your choice.


We offer over 20 different career paths from Uniformed Public Services (i.e Fire, Police and Armed Forces) to Business, Arts and IT.

You can study a range of courses to progress to University or into the workplace. BTEC National Awards, Certificates and Diplomas are equivalent to A Levels and accepted as entry qualifications by most Universities. BTECs are continually assessed courses with no end of year exams to take.

Whilst most of these courses are taken by 16 to 19 year olds, we have many mature students who enjoy full time studies and add to the diversity of the classes.
