The attractive, self-contained cottage dates back to early Victorian times and originally provided accommodation for ostlers, the stable boys who looked after the horses at Westborough Lodge Farm.
Refurbished to a high standard in 2011, the cottage retains many original features, including beams and lantern recesses. Ostler's Cottage is the perfect bed and breakfast choice all year round. In winter, there's oil-fired central heating and, after a hot, relaxing bath or shower, you can put your feet up in front of the wood-burning stove and enjoy a great movie, or lose yourself in your favourite book. Ostler's Cottage also has its own private orchard, complete with patio, garden table, chairs and barbecue. Perfect to enjoy a chilled glass of wine on a summer's evening.
Westborough Lodge Farm is a haven for wildlife; the estate is home to owls, bats, hares, pheasants, moorhens, and occasionally a herd of deer in the fields. The farm sits in 35 acres of grassland, peaceful, quiet and the perfect place to relax.
At the front of the cottage is a courtyard area with private and secure parking, helping you to relax as soon as you step out of the car.
