If you havenʼt been to Strays yet you should! The food and drinks are really wonderful and the staff are always smiling and helpful. If you have a latte - ask them to make the teddy bear face on the top!!

This café is attached to a small but extremely efficient book shop of the same name. My wife, who is Swiss - and extremely demanding when it comes to coffee - says they serve the best expresso sheʼs ever tasted. Service: efficient and friendly. Cakes and biscuits: home-made. Background music: jazz. A must if youʼre in Newark - and only two minutesʼ walk from Starbuckʼs (and so much better...).
